Founded in 2006 by Michele Cipressi Dean, this dance ensemble never fails to surprise and delight their audiences with a wide variety of dance genres from historically costumed Arabic Andalusion folklore, to energetic Afro-Belly fusion, with new styles being developed each year. Tight, seamless theatrical choreographies look stunning onstage, and more casual interactive sets are great for parties, festivals and events.   In addition to performances, Rara Avis Dancers offer dance instruction in the many styles they study and perform.
